How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Are you an experienced Data Architect looking to shape the future of enterprise data platforms?

    We're working with a leading global organisation that is investing heavily in cloud, data and AI transformation. As part of this growth, they're looking for a Senior Data Architect to design and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms that power advanced analytics, machine learning and AI solutions.

    This is an opportunity to work on large-scale transformation programmes, influencing data strategy and architecture while working with some of the latest cloud technologies.

    The Role

    As a Senior Data Architect, you'll be responsible for designing scalable, secure and high-performing data platforms across cloud environments. You'll work closely with technical teams, stakeholders and business leaders to define architecture, establish best practices and deliver modern data solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    Design and architect enterprise-scale cloud data platforms.
    Define data architecture strategies, standards and governance.
    Deliver modern data solutions using Databricks, Snowflake, AWS and GCP.
    Enable advanced analytics, AI and machine learning capabilities.
    Work closely with engineering, data and business teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
    Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
    Ensure solutions are secure, scalable and aligned with business objectives.Skills & Experience

    We're looking for professionals with experience in:

    Enterprise Data Architecture.
    Databricks.
    Snowflake.
    AWS and/or GCP.
    Designing modern cloud data platforms.
    Data Lakes, Data Warehouses and Lakehouse architectures.
    Data governance, security and architecture best practices.
    AI, Machine Learning or Data Science platforms (highly desirable).
    Banking, Financial Services or other highly regulated industries (preferred)
