How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Here at Sealey, we are seeking to recruit a Export Admin Team Supervisor to join our team based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. You will join us on a permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

    This is a newly created role within the Export Department so it’s an exciting opportunity to make your mark!

    The Company

    Responsibilities as our Export Admin Team Supervisor will include:

    Supervise and organise the flow of work through the Export Admin Team

    Build a positive team spirit amongst the Export Admin Team and lead them by example (currently 4 team members)

    Process and oversee export customer orders from start to finish

    Interact with a diverse global network of dealers and distributors

    Liaise with internal teams for timely and compliant export order despatch

    Work through daily problem solving and share key learning with the team.

    Occasionally attend overseas trade shows if required.

    What we’re looking for in our Export Admin Team Supervisor :

    To have a positive customer focused mindset and be proactive

    Previous experience working in an Export based role 

    Previous supervisory experience

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    Be culturally aware with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and international customers

    To be highly organised, efficient and adaptable to change

    The ability to prioritise tasks, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines

    Computer literacy, including experience of Microsoft Office applications
