Assistant Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is managing an exciting opportunity, based in Petersfield.  An Assistant Accountant vacancy has become available to join a thriving manufacturing organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a fabulous, career enhancing position and would suit a graduate, who has some work experience and strong Excel skills, including V Look ups and Pivot Tables.

What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

Analysing financial data and investigating variances to support operational decision-making

Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes to contribute to strategic financial planning

Liaising with staff across departments to resolve price and cost queries

Producing accurate financial reports and identifying opportunities for process improvements

Supporting ad hoc financial analysis and administrative duties as required

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Some relevant accounts or financial analysis experience.

Demonstrating proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and familiarity with accounts systems.

Displaying strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Being proactive, adaptable, and able to communicate effectively across teams
