How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Our client is a global leader in advanced engineering and manufacturing, developing world-class off-highway machines across construction, agriculture and industrial sectors. With a strong focus on electrification, automation, connectivity and intelligent machine control, they are seeking Electrical Systems Engineers to support the development of next-generation products.

    Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will take ownership of key electrical and electronic systems throughout the product development lifecycle. Working across multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will support the delivery of robust machine architectures from concept through to production.

Owning the development and evolution of electrical and electronic machine systems from concept through validation and production.

Defining and developing electrical architectures, including ECU allocation, CAN network layouts and sensor/actuator integration.

Ensuring electrical designs meet functional, environmental and reliability requirements.

Supporting the integration of ECUs, embedded software and machine-level control functionality.

Developing and maintaining system requirements, electrical specifications and interface definitions.

Managing traceability throughout the engineering V-cycle development process.

Defining and executing validation plans (DVP&R) for electrical systems.

Using CAN tools to verify system behaviour, diagnose faults and optimise machine functionality.

Leading structured fault-finding activities across electrical and control systems.

Supporting programme delivery through design reviews, gateway processes and change management.

Working with suppliers on electrical components including ECUs, sensors and wiring harnesses.

    Qualifications & Experience

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience within automotive, off-highway, mobile machinery or similar engineering environments.

Strong understanding of electrical architectures, including 12V/24V systems.

Experience with CAN communication protocols, including J1939.

Knowledge of control systems, electrical integration and machine-level functionality.

Experience with system validation, testing and electrical fault finding.

Ability to analyse technical issues and apply structured problem-solving techniques.

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Experience working with engineering documentation, requirements management and development processes.

    Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-leading engineering organisation and play a key role in developing the next generation of intelligent off-highway machines. As an Electrical / E&C Systems Engineer, you will work on advanced electrical architectures, control systems and emerging technologies, seeing your designs progress from concept through to real-world machine applications
