If you have your 18th Edition, 2391, and AM2, we will provide all the specialist manufacturer and hands-on training you need to excel in the green energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
*
Installation & Wiring: Complete first and second-fix electrical installations for air source heat pumps, including control wiring, cylinders, central heating controls, and mains upgrades.

Inspection & Testing: Carry out initial verification, inspection, and testing on all new installations, completing Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs).
*
Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with BS 7671 (18th Edition) regulations and health and safety standards.
*
Fault Finding: Diagnose and rectify electrical faults during commissioning or maintenance visits.
*
Customer Service: Maintain a professional, clean, and helpful presence on-site, explaining basic system controls to customers upon completion.
Position Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications & Credentials
*
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent JIB Gold Card standard).
*
AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2) certificate.
*
City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition) Wiring Regulations.
*
City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) Inspection and Testing.
*
Full, clean UK Driving License.
Experience
*
Required: Proven background in domestic electrical installation, consumer unit upgrades, and circuit testing.
*
Desirable (But Not Essential): Prior experience wiring air source heat pumps, S-Plan/Y-Plan heating systems, or smart heating controls (Nest, Hive, etc.).
