With a strong focus on innovation, electrification, automation and intelligent machine technologies, they are seeking a Test & Validation Engineer to support the development, validation and optimisation of next-generation products.
Key Responsibilities
As a Test & Validation Engineer, you will play a key role in planning, executing and analysing development activities to ensure products achieve their required performance and reliability targets. Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will support projects from prototype development through to production.
Planning and delivering test and validation activities aligned with programme objectives.
Creating and executing validation plans to assess product performance, durability and reliability.
Supporting prototype builds and evaluating machine performance in real-world operating environments.
Analysing test data and using engineering insights to improve product quality and robustness.
Conducting laboratory, rig and machine-based testing activities.
Investigating technical issues and supporting structured root cause analysis activities.
Interpreting machine and test data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
Supporting corrective actions through to successful validation and implementation.
Working closely with engineering teams to improve product performance and customer value.
Supporting engineering reviews, gateway assessments and change management activities.
Qualifications & Experience
A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience within product development, test engineering or validation environments.
Experience supporting testing, development or validation activities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex engineering issues.
Experience working hands-on with machinery as well as within an engineering environment.
Knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies including 8D, FMEA and Root Cause Analysis.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
