Are you passionate about supporting women to rebuild their lives and achieve greater independence? We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Female Support Workers to join a specialist service supporting women with backgrounds of homelessness and multiple disadvantages.
About the Role
You will provide person-centred support to women who may have experienced homelessness, mental health challenges, and/or drug and alcohol dependency. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help service users develop life skills, access essential services, and move towards positive outcomes.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 6 months' UK care or support work experience
Experience supporting individuals affected by:
Homelessness
Mental health needs
Drug and alcohol misuse
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A compassionate, resilient, and professional approach
Desirable
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (highly beneficial)
