How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Production Coordinator
    East London | Full Time | Fashion Wholesale
    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Coordinator to join a leading womenswear supplier, designing and delivering trend-led collections for major high street and international retailers.
    This is a fantastic opportunity to manage the end-to-end production process across fast-paced womenswear collections, working closely with design, sales, buying, suppliers and warehouse teams to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
    Key Responsibilities
    * Manage purchase orders and production from order to delivery.
    * Track critical paths and production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
    * Liaise with design, sales, buying throughout the product lifecycle.
    * Approve fabrics, trims, colours and samples.
    * Coordinate the sampling process and manage incoming samples.
    * Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate lead times and costs.
    * Monitor margins, product information and shipping timelines.
    * Coordinate warehouse deliveries and maintain accurate system data.
    * Support customer accounts with product information and merchandising updates.
    Skills & Experience
    * Previous experience as a Production Coordinator, Production Merchandiser, or Assistant Merchandiser or similar within fashion.
    * Experience in womenswear fashion apparel production.
    * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    * High attention to detail with strong Excel and systems knowledge.
    * Commercially aware, proactive, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    Desirable
    * Experience working with overseas factories and suppliers.
    * Knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction and sampling.
    * Relevant qualification in Fashion, Merchandising or Business.
