Senior Cyber Security Engineer (Hybrid / Leeds)

We're seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to design, implement, and enhance security solutions across a modern technology estate. You'll act as a technical expert, helping to strengthen security controls, reduce risk, and support business-critical projects.

Description

Design and implement security architectures and controls.
Drive security best practices across projects and operations.
Lead threat modelling, risk assessments, and security reviews.
Support cloud, infrastructure, and application security initiatives.
Act as a senior escalation point for security-related matters.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.Profile

Essential

Proven experience in Security Engineering, Cyber Security, or Security Architecture.
Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, network security, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
Experience with DevSecOps and secure application development.
Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable

Microsoft Azure experience.
Certifications such as CISM, CCSP, CRISC, or SSCPJob Offer

Hybrid role: 2/3 days in Leeds office weekly
