HR Administrator – Recruitment & HR Support
Are you an organised and detail-oriented HR Administrator looking for your next opportunity? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same?
Our client is seeking a proactive HR Administrator to join their friendly HR team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous HR or recruitment administration experience who is looking to further develop their career within Human Resources.
Working closely with the HR team and hiring managers, you'll support the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on recruitment, onboarding, compliance and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
* Support hiring managers with recruitment requirements across the business.
* Draft and advertise vacancies on job boards, company websites and social media platforms.
* Screen applications and CVs against role requirements.
* Coordinate interviews, including scheduling, candidate communications and interview logistics.
* Carry out employment references and pre-employment compliance checks.
* Prepare recruitment documentation, interview packs and offer paperwork.
* Liaise with recruitment agencies and external providers where required.
* Keep candidates updated throughout the recruitment process, ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
* Maintain accurate recruitment records and produce recruitment reports.
HR Administration
* Manage the onboarding process for new starters, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
* Prepare contracts of employment and new starter documentation.
* Maintain accurate employee records using the HR system.
* Process changes relating to new starters, leavers and employee records, ensuring payroll information is submitted accurately.
* Support compliance and safeguarding checks where required.
* Respond to HR queries from employees and managers in a professional and confidential manner.
* Coordinate HR meetings, prepare documentation and take minutes where required.
* Support learning and development administration, including training records.
* Assist with HR projects and general HR administration to support the wider team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience as an HR Administrator, Recruitment Administrator or within an HR support role.
* Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience using HR systems (CIPHR or another HRIS would be advantageous).
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
* A professional approach to handling confidential information.
* A positive, proactive and customer-focused attitude.
