How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Global Brand | European Headquarters | Hemel Hempstead
    Immediate Start | Temporary Assignment until March 2027

    We are recruiting for a Temporary Customer Service Representative to join the European Headquarters of a leading global brand based in Hemel Hempstead. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team in a varied customer-focused role, with an immediate start available and the assignment running through to the end of March 2027.

    Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5:00pm
    Hybrid working pattern:
    3 days per week in the modern Hemel Hempstead office
    2 days per week working from home

    The Role

    Working as part of the Customer Service team, you will play a key role in supporting the sales function by delivering exceptional service to customers and internal stakeholders. You'll be responsible for processing customer orders, resolving queries, coordinating deliveries and ensuring a smooth order-to-delivery experience.

    This is a fast-paced position where accuracy, organisation and excellent communication skills are essential.

    Key Responsibilities

    Process customer orders received via email and telephone, ensuring all requirements are accurately fulfilled.
    Handle specialist orders, including bundled products, consignment orders, free-of-charge deliveries and returns.
    Monitor the order fulfilment and delivery process, liaising with distribution centres and delivery partners where required.
    Arrange urgent or special deliveries when requested.
    Produce, check and issue customer invoices.
    Maintain accurate records and filing of order documentation.
    Respond promptly to customer enquiries regarding orders, deliveries and product availability.
    Manage customer service complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
    Handle and monitor backorders, keeping customers informed throughout.
    Provide day-to-day support to the sales team and assist with customer-related administration as required.About You

    We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

    You'll ideally have:

    Previous experience in a customer service, customer support or sales support role.
    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
    The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
    Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office and CRM or ERP systems.
    A proactive, team-focused approach with a willingness to support colleagues when needed.
    Experience within a corporate or international business environment would be advantageous.Quality & Compliance
