The Role
The successful candidate will:
Teach a KS1 class from October 2026
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the National Curriculum
Deliver high-quality phonics teaching to support early reading
Assess pupils' progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
Contribute positively to the wider life of the schoolThe specific year group will be confirmed prior to the start date and will be based on the school's staffing requirements.
Requirements
The school is looking for a teacher who:
Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching within KS1
Has a secure understanding of phonics and the KS1 curriculum
Maintains high expectations for behaviour and learning
Has strong classroom management and organisational skills
Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a wider team
Is committed to ensuring every pupil reaches their potentialApplications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs.

Outer London Pay Scale: M1-UPS3
