Birmingham | £65,000 - £70,000 + Package + 8% Pension
We are working with a well-established planned maintenance main contractor that has secured a 10-year, £40 million framework with Birmingham City Council. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Project Quantity Surveyor to commercially manage this long-term social housing contract.
The programme of works includes:
* Kitchen & bathroom replacements
* External refurbishment programmes
* Roofing works and replacements
* General planned maintenance and property upgrades across occupied social housing
The Role
* Full commercial responsibility for planned maintenance projects
* Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts
* Prepare valuations, cost reports and forecasts
* Identify and manage variations
* Work closely with operational teams and the client to ensure commercial success
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor
* Experience within planned maintenance, refurbishment, social housing or construction
* Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
* Ability to manage projects independently
