Operations Controller

Styles Precision Ltd are looking for an Operations Controller to help keep production and supply running smoothly at our Hartlebury site.
We are a well-established subcontract engineering business and due to continued growth, we are looking for an Operations Controller to join the team and take ownership of job flow through the business.
Our site is based on Hartlebury Trading Estate, with its own train station and easy access from surrounding areas.
The role
This is a key position within the business where you will sit between customers, suppliers, and production, making sure everything runs smoothly from order through to delivery.
It is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being organised, keeping things moving, and dealing with issues before they become problems.
What you will be doing
* Processing customer orders and setting jobs up on our system
* Working alongside the Production Manager to coordinate schedules
* Liaising with suppliers, negotiating, material, sub-con process prices and lead times
* Monitoring jobs as they progress and stepping in to keep things on track
* Liaising with goods in and dispatch, ensuring everything is booked and shipped correctly
* Supporting stock control and maintaining accurate records
* Keeping communication clear across customers, suppliers, and the shop floor
What we are looking for
* Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or a similar operational role
* Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
* Confident communication, both internally and externally
* Practical, proactive approach to problem solving
* Comfortable using systems and general IT
* Someone who takes ownership and gets things done
Hours
* Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
* Friday: early finish
