How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    The successful Marketing Manager, Freight will be responsible for leading the planning, execution and optimisation of the marketing strategy. Based in Surrey 3 days per week with 2 from home; the successful candidate will steer the direction of of the freight proposition, building a commercial marketing ecosystem. This role will lead agency relationships and own a marketing budget; and the successful candidate should have strong B2B experience.

    Develop and execute B2B marketing strategies for freight services.
    Collaborate with internal teams to create targeted campaigns.
    Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
    Manage the creation of marketing materials, both digital and print.
    Oversee marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery.
    Track campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed.
    Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
    Ensure all marketing activities align with business objectives and branding guidelines.Profile

    A successful Marketing Manager, Freight should have:

    Proven experience in B2B marketing, ideally within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry, Freight or Logistics. We are open to applications from outside of this sector if you can demonstrate strong commercial results, working with an industry leading brand.
    Strong understanding of freight services and the associated market.
    Excellent project management and organisational skills.
    Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
    Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
