Working on site on a Monday and Tuesday in Syston you will be reporting to the HR Manager and provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR Manager, ensuring the efficient delivery of HR processes across the employee lifecycle. This role will have a strong focus on new starter and leaver administration, maintaining accurate employee records, supporting HR systems, and helping to establish consistent and efficient HR administrative processes.
Working closely with the HR Manager, the postholder will play an important role in developing and improving HR administration as the function evolves. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys creating structure, improving processes, maintaining compliance, and contributing to a positive employee experience.
HR Administration
Provide day-to-day administrative support across all areas of the employee lifecycle.
Prepare contracts of employment, offer letters, contractual amendments, and other HR documentation.
Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR systems.
Ensure all HR documentation is completed accurately and stored in line with GDPR requirements.New Starters & Onboarding
Coordinate all administrative aspects of the onboarding process.
Issue contracts, offer letters, and new starter documentation.
Monitor completion of pre-employment checks, right-to-work documentation, and onboarding requirements.
Support the HR Manager in delivering a smooth and positive onboarding experience.
Leavers & Employee Changes
Manage the administration of employee departures, including resignation acknowledgements, exit documentation, and system updates.
Ensure employee records remain accurate and compliant throughout the employee lifecycle.
HR Administrator - Person Specification
Essential
Previous experience in an administration or support role.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Experience maintaining confidential employee records and HR documentation.
Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
A proactive approach with the ability to identify opportunities for improving processes.
