I’m working with an established London contractor specialising in high-quality residential projects. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor.
The contractor delivers complex refurbishment and renovation projects across London, working on high-end private residences and period properties. This role offers the opportunity to take commercial ownership of projects from pre-construction through to final account.
The role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:

Managing the commercial performance of residential refurbishment projects
*
Preparing budgets, cost plans and tender documentation
*
Procuring and negotiating subcontractor packages
*
Managing valuations, variations and change control
*
Producing cost reports, forecasts and cash-flow updates
*
Monitoring project costs, risks and profitability
*
Agreeing subcontractor and client final accounts
*
Providing commercial support to project and site teams
*
Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
The ideal candidate
You will have:
*
Strong experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
*
A background in residential, high-end residential or specialist fit-out
*
Experience managing the full commercial lifecycle of projects
*
Good knowledge of construction contracts, procurement and cost control
*
Strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
*
A commercially focused and detail-oriented approach
*
A relevant degree or professional qualification
Experience working on complex London refurbishments, prime residential properties or listed buildings would be particularly advantageous.

£80000.00 - £90000.00 per year
