About the Role
Our client, a well-established and respected manufacturer within the precision engineering sector, is seeking an experienced CNC Grinder to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a business with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and employee development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC grinding machinery to produce high-precision components, ensuring all products meet strict quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Set, operate and adjust CNC grinding machines.
Manufacture components to engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Carry out in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy throughout production.
Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Identify and report any quality, tooling or machine issues.
Adhere to all health, safety and quality procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing department.Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience working as a CNC Grinder in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience using inspection and measuring equipment, including micrometers and verniers.
Strong understanding of engineering tolerances and quality standards.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.What's on Offer?
