How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Healthcare Assistant

    Location: Stafford, ST16
    Pay Rate: £14.00 - £17.00 per hour
    Shifts: Full-Time & Part-Time | Days & Nights | 8:00am - 8:00pm | 8:00pm - 8:00am

    Meet Our Client

    We are looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support a gentleman in his late 50s who lives at home with his wife.

    He enjoys leading an active lifestyle and regularly attends local social, exercise and support groups. He also has a passion for poetry, painting, card games and board games, and enjoys spending time out in the community.

    As part of his dedicated care team, you'll support him with his daily routines, personal care and clinical needs while encouraging him to remain independent and continue enjoying the hobbies and activities he loves.

    During night shifts, you'll provide personal care, medication administration, catheter care, moving and handling, and overnight monitoring to ensure he remains comfortable, safe and well supported.

    This is a rewarding opportunity to build a meaningful relationship while helping someone maintain their independence and quality of life.

    Clinical Experience

    Previous care experience is essential.

    Experience with the following is desirable:

    Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our expert in-house Nursing Team.

    Essential Requirements

    To be considered for this role, you must:

    *

    Have a minimum of 3 months' paid care experience within the UK.

    *

    Have the right to work in the UK.

    *

    Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.

    *

    Be willing to complete client-specific clinical training.

    *

    Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 3 years and be confident driving the client's adapted manual vehicle.

    *

    Be comfortable around dogs.
