Head of FP&A | Central London (Hybrid) | Competitive Salary + Bonus
I'm partnering exclusively with a high-growth global technology platform on a genuinely rare FP&A leadership hire. This is a blank-page opportunity, no legacy systems, no inherited processes, just the autonomy to architect a best-in-class FP&A function from the ground up and deploy the latest financial technology to match.
This role will suit a commercially driven finance leader who is energised by building, not maintaining. You will need to be able to work autonomously while also working with senior leadership to make critical decisions.
What you'll be doing
Design and build a modern, scalable FP&A infrastructure from scratch, selecting and implementing best-in-class planning software
Establish standardised, automated workflows for budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis across the business
Own the end-to-end strategic, annual and rolling planning cycles, aligning departmental targets to the long-term platform vision
Translate complex operational metrics and financial results into high-impact narrative presentations for the executive leadership team and Board
Embed deeply with commercial, product and growth teams as an internal strategic consultant, driving performance optimisation and ROI analysis
Provide financial modelling and decision support for high-profile initiatives including geographic expansion, monetisation strategy and new product lines
Build robust predictive models forecasting marketplace dynamics including retention, churn and global payment processing efficiency
Identify untapped revenue levers, cost efficiencies and margin expansion opportunities across the global platform
Recruit, mentor and develop a high-performing FP&A team
What they're looking for
ACA, CIMA, ACCA qualified
Proven experience as Head of FP&A, FP&A Director or senior commercial finance leader within a high-growth global tech platform, digital marketplace or fintech
Demonstrated track record of designing and implementing EPM software and advanced data visualisation tools from scratch
Exceptional financial modelling and strategic planning skills and able to turn large, unstructured data sets into clean, actionable insight
Superb stakeholder management with the ability to challenge, influence and partner at senior exec level
Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and a blank page, with the execution capability to deliver institutional-grade infrastructure
