How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    PLANT OPERATIVE (DIGGER DRIVER / 360 EXCAVATOR) REQUIRED - RAVENSTONE, LEICESTERSHIRE

    Contract: 1 Week (Temporary)

    Start Date: Monday, 20th July 2026

    We are seeking an experienced and reliable Digger Driver / 360 Excavator Driver for a short-term, one-week contract on a civil/groundworks development in Ravenstone, Leicestershire.

    Contract Details

    Start Date: Monday, 20th July 2026

    Duration: 1 Week (Monday to Friday)

    Key Duties

    Operating a 360 Excavator (above 10 tonnes) safely and efficiently in line with site specifications.

    Executing lifting operations to move and position heavy materials, structures, or pipework.

    Working closely with groundworkers and site supervisors to dig trenches, foundations, or manage muck shifts.

    Conducting daily pre-start plant machinery safety checks and reporting any maintenance faults immediately.

    Requirements

    Qualifications: Valid Blue CPCS Card with 360 Excavator (Above 10 Tonnes) and Lifting Operations endorsement.

    PPE: Full 5-point PPE required (Hard hat, high-vis jacket/vest, steel toe cap boots, gloves, safety glasses).

    Experience: Proven track record as a skilled operator on fast-paced civil or commercial construction sites.

    Reliability: Must have excellent timekeeping, a strong safety-first mindset, and references available upon request.
