How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Automotive Logistics Planner

    Location: Crewe

    Contract Type: Temporary (6 months)

    Working Pattern: Full Time, 35 hours Monday - Friday

    Are you ready to take your logistics expertise to the next level? Adecco working in partnership with Bentley Motors, a prestigious name in the automotive manufacturing sector, is on the lookout for a dynamic and detail-oriented Automotive Logistics Planner to join their innovative team in Crewe!

    What You'll Do:

    As a Logistics Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of components and materials needed for production. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

    Liaising with Teams: Collaborate with internal Mulliner departments (Styling, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Projects) and external suppliers to understand and manage part requirements.
    Coordinating Deliveries: Ensure timely delivery of parts in alignment with Mulliner and mainstream production schedules.
    Supporting New Introductions: Assist in the introduction of new parts for upcoming models, tracking changes and acting swiftly to secure supply.
    Scheduling and Transport: Organise parts delivery and logistics to meet critical build phase deadlines.
    Managing Supplier Relations: Cultivate strong partnerships with suppliers to enhance feature development and tackle delivery challenges.
    Oversight of Component Flow: Monitor the timely flow of materials and components, ensuring quality standards are met.
    KPI Tracking: Attend weekly meetings to review performance indicators such as Right First Time (RFT) and delivery progress.
    Purchase Orders: Raise and manage purchase orders following company policies.
    Quality Assurance: Validate part specifications against project data to ensure the highest quality.Who You Are:

    Proven experience in parts coordination or logistics within a manufacturing or automotive setting.
    Strong engagement skills with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
    A knack for managing schedules, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    Comfort working within cross-functional project teams.
    Exceptional problem-solving and organisational abilities, with a sense of ownership and accountability.What You'll Bring:
