Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting Refuse Loaders to join our client's waste collection team based in Letchworth Garden City.
This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals looking for consistent weekday work with an early finish every day.
The Role
As a Refuse Loader, you'll work as part of a three-person crew, collecting household waste and recycling from residential properties across the local area. You'll be responsible for ensuring collections are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while providing an essential service to the community.
This is a physically demanding role that involves regular walking, lifting and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Collect household waste and recycling from residential properties.
Work safely and effectively as part of a three-man team.
Load waste onto the refuse collection vehicle.
Follow planned collection routes and schedules.
Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with members of the public.
Assist the driver and crew to complete daily rounds efficiently.
What We're Looking For
A good level of physical fitness.
Reliable and punctual with the ability to start at 6:00am.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Able to work well as part of a team.
Previous experience in waste collection, labouring, warehouse or outdoor work is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
