How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are looking for a Framework Manager to provide strategic leadership, commercial governance and contract oversight across a Thames Water MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation) portfolio.

This is a high-profile leadership role where you'll work closely with senior client stakeholders and internal teams to ensure projects are commercially successful, contractually compliant, financially optimised, and delivered safely and efficiently.

As the senior commercial representative for the framework, you'll lead a multi-disciplinary team, strengthen key client relationships and drive continuous improvement across a diverse programme of essential infrastructure projects.

Please note: There is flexibility for this role to be based from one of our regional offices.

    What You'll Be Doing

Lead the commercial, contractual and operational management of the Thames Water MEICA framework.
Provide strategic direction to maximise commercial performance and profitability.
Manage NEC contracts, including change control, compensation events, valuations, risk and final accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Thames Water and key stakeholders.
Lead commercial governance, reporting and financial forecasting across the framework.
Support and develop high-performing commercial teams.
Drive continuous improvement, best practice and operational excellence.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual obligations.

    What We're Looking For

We're seeking a commercially astute leader who can influence at every level, manage complex contracts and deliver exceptional commercial outcomes.

    Essential Experience

Extensive commercial and contract management experience within infrastructure, utilities, water or MEICA environments.
Proven success managing multi-million-pound frameworks, contracts or capital delivery programmes.
Strong NEC contract management experience, including compensation events, change control and commercial governance.
Experience of financial management, forecasting, cashflow, valuations and final accounts.
Excellent commercial negotiation, stakeholder management and contract administration skills.
Knowledge of MEICA engineering principles and project delivery processes.

    Desirable

Previous experience within the UK Water Industry.
Experience working on Thames Water AMP programmes.

    Qualifications

Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
    Full UK Driving Licence.

    What's on Offer

    Salary up to £120,000
    Company Car
    Comprehensive Benefits Package
Flexible base location across regional offices
Opportunity to lead a flagship Thames Water framework
Long-term career progression within a successful and growing infrastructure business
Collaborative, supportive leadership environment with genuine autonomy

    Ready to Make an Impact?

If you're a strategic commercial leader with the expertise to manage complex frameworks, build trusted client relationships and drive outstanding commercial performance, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure projects across the UK's water sector.

Our client is a leading UK civil engineering, MEICA and utilities infrastructure contractor, delivering essential maintenance and capital projects across the water sector.
