Their Civils division operates within the water industry delivering non-infrastructure projects for Tier1 main contractors. Due to continuous growth, they are looking for an Estimator/Senior Estimator to join their bid team.
You will work on a flexible hybrid basis from their Nuneaton office.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction and infrastructure projects.
* Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
* Liaise with engineering, procurement, commercial and operational teams throughout the tender process.
* Assist in developing tender strategies and compiling submission documentation.
* Demonstrate the ability to understand complex engineering drawings/ designs to develop methodology/ sequencing proposals with the wider tender team.
* Support the Commercial Manager with budgeting, forecasting, and tender submissions.
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
* Review project risks and opportunities during the tender process.
Experience required:
* Proven experience as an Estimator within construction or civil engineering.
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction costing.
* Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies

£65000.00 - £75000.00 per year
