This is a full-time, term-time position 35 hours per week working either 8:00am-4:00pm or 10:00am-6:00pm on a shift rota. The successful candidate will provide general support across the nursery while also working closely with children with additional needs, particularly those with speech and language difficulties. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children's development in a caring and stimulating environment.
The Children's Centre is looking for someone with previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting. A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification would be highly desirable, although candidates with strong EYFS experience and relevant skills are also encouraged to apply. A patient, enthusiastic and nurturing approach, along with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families, is essential.
