What will you be responsible for?
As a Site Manager, youll be working within the Yorkshire Water Framework, supporting the successful delivery of projects as part of the AMP8 programme.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to achieve programme objectives
- Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with Health & Safety requirements, company procedures, and industry regulations
- Reviewing and managing site documentation including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality records
- Monitoring progress against programme milestones and proactively managing any issues or delays
- Managing quality assurance processes and ensuring all materials and workmanship meet required specifications
- Conducting site inspections, safety briefings, and maintaining high standards of compliance across all activities
- Supporting and developing engineers and site teams, including mentoring junior staff and graduate engineers
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, operational teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders
- Supporting project reporting requirements, including progress updates and resource planning
What are we looking for?
This role of Site Manager is ideal for you if:
- You have a degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- You bring previous site management experience within civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction projects
- You have experience managing subcontractors, site teams, and project delivery activities
- You have a strong understanding of quality assurance, programme management, and Health & Safety procedures
- You hold a full UK Driving Licence
- You hold a valid CSCS card and SMSTS qualification
- You have strong leadership skills and enjoy building collaborative working relationships
- Previous experience within the water sector or utility frameworks would be beneficial
