How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Location: Leeds (Hybrid working available)
    Salary: Competitive base salary + uncapped commission (no threshold)

    The Opportunity

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a couple of years' experience in sales, business development or recruitment who is looking to accelerate their career within a high-performing executive search environment.

    You'll have the opportunity to build your own market, develop long-term client relationships and work alongside experienced consultants on senior-level appointments, with clear progression and uncapped earning potential.

    What You'll Be Doing

    * Building and developing relationships with senior professionals and key decision-makers.

    * Generating new business through proactive business development and outbound calling.

    * Managing the full recruitment process from initial brief through to successful placement.

    * Identifying and engaging high-calibre candidates through headhunting, networking and market mapping.

    * Conducting candidate interviews and managing recruitment processes.

    * Developing your own client portfolio and becoming a trusted recruitment partner.

    * Working towards ambitious sales, activity and revenue targets.

    What We're Looking For

    * 1-3 years' experience within a sales, business development or recruitment environment.

    * A confident communicator who enjoys picking up the phone and building relationships.

    * Someone who is proactive, resilient and thrives in a target-driven environment.

    * Strong commercial awareness and a genuine interest in developing new business.

    * Self-motivated, ambitious and eager to progress quickly.

    * A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
