The Opportunity

A welcoming primary school in Trafford is looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September on a long-term basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.

Your Responsibilities

✔ Support pupils with a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs

✔ Deliver targeted interventions and support EHCP outcomes

✔ Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO

✔ Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning

✔ Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

✅ Previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience in a primary school

✅ Experience supporting children with additional needs

✅ Strong behaviour management skills

✅ A patient, resilient and nurturing approach

✅ A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND
