How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Do you have experience assembling and debugging complex electronic systems? Are you looking for a varied role where you can combine hands-on prototype assembly with electronic development work?

    Specialising in advanced technology, this pioneering organisation has built a global reputation for engineering excellence and innovation. With continued investment and ambitious growth plans, they are expanding their R&D team with the addition of a Senior Electronics Technician.

    In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, integrating and testing complex electronic prototype systems. Working closely with Electronics Engineers, you'll carry out PCB assembly, soldering, fault finding and hardware testing, while also supporting schematic capture, PCB modifications and prototype development.

    This role would therefore suit an experienced Electronics Technician with strong PCB assembly, soldering and fault-finding experience who is looking for a highly practical role within an innovative and rapidly expanding medical technology company.

    The Role:

    Assembly, integration and testing of electronic prototype systems
    PCB assembly, rework, soldering and fault finding
    Support electronic design, PCB modifications and prototype development
    £35,000 - £45,000 + Training + Progression + 33 Days HolidayThe Person:

    Experience assembling and debugging electronic systems
    Strong PCB soldering and fault-finding skills
    Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters or similar test equipment
