We're looking for a hardworking, safety-focused Forge Operator to join our team.
This is a busy, fast-paced environment, and we are busy busy!.
Commutable from :- Birmingham, Bearwood, Sutton Coldfield, Minworth, Solihull, Aston, Moseley, Walsall, Harbourne, Oldbury, Tyseley, Aldridge, Tamworth, Wednesbury, Rugeley, and Willenhall
DUTIES
* Operating forging machinery safely and efficiently.
* Driving Fork- Lift Trucks to move materials and finished products.
* Operating overhead cranes to handle heavy metal components.
* Loading, unloading, and handling hot and cold metal products.
* Carrying out quality checks and following production schedules.
* Maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards.
* Working 12-hour Day shift – 4 on / 4 off
REQUIREMENTS
* Previous experience in a forge, heavy manufacturing, or engineering environment is preferable, but other backgrounds will readily be considered – such as steel, metal handling or CNC
* FLT licence/experience though not essential as training will be offered
* Overhead crane experience preferred.
* Comfortable handling heavy metal products and working in a physically demanding role.
* Strong commitment to health and safety.
* Reliable, motivated, and a great team player.
