How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Are you an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering £10m+ construction projects?

    We're recruiting for a well-established main contractor seeking a highly organised, structured Project Manager to lead a major cladding remediation project in Manchester. This is a flagship scheme requiring an individual who can confidently manage both the design process and the construction programme from start to finish.

    This is not a role for someone who simply manages site activities. We are looking for a Project Manager who is commercially aware, programme-focused and capable of driving a complex project through to successful completion.

    The Role

    * Lead the delivery of a major cladding remediation project valued at circa £10m.

    * Take ownership of the project programme, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved.

    * Manage and coordinate the design process, ensuring information is released in line with programme requirements.

    * Oversee façade and cladding packages, coordinating specialist subcontractors and consultants.

    * Manage site teams, subcontractors and client relationships.

    * Chair progress meetings and provide clear project reporting.

    * Ensure the highest standards of quality, health & safety and programme performance throughout the project lifecycle.

    * Drive projects through to a successful, defect-free handover.

    Essential Requirements

    * Degree qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.

    * Proven experience delivering construction projects valued at £10m+ as a Project Manager.

    * Strong knowledge and experience managing façade/cladding packages.

    * Excellent programme management skills

    * SMSTS.

    * Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

    * A structured, organised approach with exceptional planning ability.

    What's on Offer

    * Opportunity to lead a landmark remediation project in Manchester.

    * Long-term pipeline of major projects.

    * Competitive salary and benefits package.

    * Excellent career progression with a growing contractor.

    If you're an experienced Project Manager with the technical expertise and organisational skills to deliver complex remediation projects, we'd like to hear from you
