How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Role

    As a Paint Sprayer, you'll be responsible for preparing and refinishing accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring every repair leaves the workshop with a flawless, factory-quality finish. Working with modern equipment and premium paint systems, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

    Your Responsibilities

    Prepare vehicles and panels ready for painting.
    Mix paints accurately to achieve perfect colour matches.
    Apply water-based paint systems using manufacturer-approved techniques.
    Produce high-quality paint finishes to manufacturer standards.
    Carry out final quality inspections to ensure every repair is defect-free.
    Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
    Work efficiently while consistently delivering exceptional workmanship.
    What We're Looking For

    Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer or Paint Technician within a busy accident repair centre.
    Extensive experience using water-based paint systems.
    City & Guilds qualification or equivalent is preferred.
    Strong knowledge of modern vehicle refinishing techniques.
    Excellent attention to detail with pride in producing outstanding quality.
    Stable employment history within the automotive repair industry.
    Ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performing team.

    Realistic OTE of £49,000.
