How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Production team as a Production Controller at our Wolverhampton site.

    Your Role :
    Responsible for delivering our customer requirements in line with the Master Production Schedule (MPS)

    Key responsibilities:
    -Work with supply-chain to ensure both internal and external supply of material to agreed schedules
    -Manage Lines of Balance for each Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) within their responsibility
    -Develop production and kitting plans in line with customer requirements and sales forecasts (Including Aftermarket, OERs & Aged WIP)
    -Validate schedule to capacity (build plan review)
    -Manage work order release and closure in line with MPS requirement
    -Inventory control/accuracy
    -Manage escalation process when a sustained deviation from plan occurs and capture turnbacks
    -Management of Engineering change introduction
    -Working with operators, production schedules, materials and equipment to ensure on time in full delivery to MPS
    -Develop weekly shipping plan in line with customer requirements and operations output

    What You'll Bring :

    -Experience in Production Planning, Production Control, Materials Planning, or Supply Chain Planning within a manufacturing environment.
    -Knowledge of SAP and Excel would be desirable, with the ability to manage production schedules, work orders, and material requirements.
    -Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    -Strong communication and influencing skills, combined with a proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement
