How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SHEQ Advisor Commutable from: Maidstone, Chatham, Gillingham, Rochester, Sittingbourne, Aylesford, Ashford, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Canterbury, etc. £43,000 - £46,000 + Car Allowance + Ongoing Training + Career Progression + Company Pension + Excellent Company Benefits

    Are you a SHEQ Advisor or Health & Safety professional with a NEBOSH qualification looking to join a growing business offering long-term career progression, ongoing development and the opportunity to make a real impact?

    On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company that continues to invest in both its people and its future. You'll receive ongoing training, structured development and the chance to play a key role in driving Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards across the business.

    In this role, you'll support the implementation and continual improvement of SHEQ policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation, ISO standards and company processes. You'll carry out audits, risk assessments, investigations and produce RAMS while helping to drive a positive Health & Safety culture across the business.

    This role would suit a SHEQ Advisor looking for a stable, long-term role with genuine progression opportunities.

    Applications from ex-forces candidates with a NEBOSH qualification looking to transition into a civilian SHEQ career are also encouraged.

    The Role:

    Support and develop Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems
    Carry out audits, risk assessments, investigations and produce RAMS
    Ensure compliance with UK legislation and ISO standards
    Ongoing training and career development
    The Person:

    SHEQ, Health & Safety or HSE background
    NEBOSH General Certificate
    Knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and ISO standards
