How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Welcome to Warner Bros. Discovery… the stuff dreams are made of.

    Who We Are…

When we say, “the stuff dreams are made of,” we’re not just referring to the world of wizards, dragons and superheroes, or even to the wonders of Planet Earth. Behind WBD’s vast portfolio of iconic content and beloved brands, are the storytellers bringing our characters to life, the creators bringing them to your living rooms and the dreamers creating what’s next…

From brilliant creatives, to technology trailblazers, across the globe, WBD offers career defining opportunities, thoughtfully curated benefits, and the tools to explore and grow into your best selves. Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.

Our studios are considered one of the foremost motion picture and television production and post-production facilities in the world. They inform, engage, and transport audiences to new worlds. The key to that lies with our Studio Operations group, which includes areas like soundstage/backlot set rentals, events, design, culinary, construction, landscaping and much more. Whether it’s hosting an unforgettable studio tour, creating an optimal workspace, or equipping talent to tell the best stories, these teams lay the foundation for the memorable experiences we provide.

    Your New Role…

As an International Security Operations Centre (ISOC) Operator, you’ll be the first to know when something happens — and the one who ensures the right people act fast. You’ll be part of a dedicated team that keeps Warner Bros. Discovery’s people, sites, and operations safe across the EMEA region.

Every shift brings something different. From monitoring international activity to responding to real-time incidents, you’ll make decisions that matter — helping to protect colleagues, assets, and information across multiple countries. Calm, focused, and proactive, you’ll use advanced systems and your own situational awareness to keep operations running smoothly.

This is a role for someone who thrives under pressure, communicates with confidence, and takes pride in being a key part of a team that operates around the clock to safeguard one of the world’s most iconic entertainment companies.

    Your Role Accountabilities…

    • Continuous monitoring and management of security operations, including handling emergency and non-emergency communications from staff based in the region, or travelling to the region.

    • Overseeing and monitoring technical security systems such as CCTV, Access Control, and Fire/Life Safety Systems at multiple WBD sites.

    • Acknowledging, disseminating, and escalating incident information to relevant security team members, other relevant stakeholders and the Global Threat Analysis Centre (GTAC).

    • Keeping track of local news, law enforcement notifications, and other relevant sources to provide updates on ongoing incidents.

    • Maintaining detailed records of all incidents, communications, and actions, and preparing reports for management as required.

    • Acting as an ambassador for the company by delivering respectful and tailored service to all customers and stakeholders and when required assisting with other security related duties.

    • Providing efficient and professional response service to any staff calling in for assistance from Global Security.

    • Effective technical security system monitoring and in accordance with relevant SOPs providing a highly professional response to alarms and other activations at all the sites monitored.

    • Responding efficiently and in a timely manner to all information received regarding any threats to WBD staff or assets.

    Qualifications & Experience…

    • Availability to work a rotating shift pattern within a 24/7 operational environment.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to stay clear, calm, and composed under pressure.

    • Experience or strong interest in operating security systems such as CCTV, Access Control, and Fire/Life Safety Systems.

    • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and preparing professional incident reports.

    • Ability to identify and evaluate potential threats using open-source research and situational monitoring.

    • Solid computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office and other operational tools.

    • Previous security or operations centre experience preferred, or relevant study in security, risk, or emergency management.

    Working Pattern…

This is a shift-based, onsite role within a 24/7 operational environment.

    • The ISOC operates continuously — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    • Operators work approximately 80 hours over a fortnight, averaging 40 hours per week (subject to variation).

    • Shifts rotate weekly, with a few rest days between rotations:

      • Morning Shift: 07:00–15:00

      • Mid Shift: 15:00–23:00

      • Night Shift: 23:00–07:00

    • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

    • Remote work is not permitted, except under exceptional circumstances such as large-scale emergencies or disaster recovery situations.

    #SO

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.

    How We Get Things Done…

This last bit is probably the most important! Here at WBD, our guiding principles are the core values by which we operate and are central to how we get things done. You can find them at www.wbd.com/guiding-principles/ along with some insights from the team on what they mean and how they show up in their day to day. We hope they resonate with you and look forward to discussing them during your interview.
