Finance Office Manager

Our well established Newark based client is looking for a Finance Manager to oversee a small hard-working team.
Duties include:
* Management of a small team, including recruitment, motivation, performance management, coaching, and development
* Prepare 4-weekly payroll including stakeholder pensions & preparation of all associated HMRC statutory reports & submissions.
* Oversee the Credit Controller and two purchase ledger members of staff.
* Responsible for business insurance queries and audit work including year-end reports.
* Preparing VAT returns
* Support the Assistant Management Accountant with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
To be considered for the Finance manager role candidates must have proven experience in managing a team and hold a CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification.
Level 5 Payroll Management Certificate or Payroll experience is essential for the role.
Excel and Sage skills as well as an excellent attention to detail and strong communication abilities are essential.
