Our client is opening a new warehouse based in Rugby, and is looking for a Stock Manager to join their growing team. An experienced Stock Manager, you will be responsibly for the supply chain of goods in the warehouse by organising the flow of stock.
The key responsibilities:
* Ensure complete product traceability and stock accuracy
* Plan and lead inventory processes, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions
* Investigate root causes of stock issues and prevent recurrence
* Respond to customer/supplier needs and escalate critical issues when required
* Track KPIs and SLAs, driving ongoing improvement and upholding H&S standards
* Turn performance targets into clear operational actions and manage your activity budget
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement by empowering your team
* Assess team performance, identify development needs, and support growth
Skills & qualities needed:
* Proven background in a warehouse stock control position within a warehouse environment
* Previous experience within a 3PL environment would be advantageous
* Experience managing inventory accuracy, cycle counts, stock investigations, and root cause analysis
* Hands on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
* Experience leading a stock control team
* Experience coaching and developing team members
* Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, high volume warehouse
* Strong communication skills for working with cross functional teams
