How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Ensure compliance with Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.

Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and method statement briefings.

Ensure safe isolation, lock-off, and permit-to-work procedures are followed.

Investigate and report incidents, near-misses, and unsafe practices.

    4) Quality Assurance & Compliance

Ensure electrical installations meet BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and project standards.

Inspect completed works and ensure defects are rectified promptly.

Support FAT/SAT, ITPs, and QA/QC processes.

Ensure compliance with client, regulatory, and water industry standards.

    5) Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of daily activities, workforce attendance, and materials used.

Review and sign off electrical test results, inspection records, and commissioning documentation.

Assist in preparing progress reports, as-built records, and handover documentation.

Ensure electrical documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant.

    6) Communication & Coordination

Liaise with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Site Managers and Client representatives.

Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of works.

Communicate progress, risks, and resource requirements effectively.
