Summer School - Registered Nurses/Paramedics
We invite registered nurses or paramedics to commit to shifts during our Summer School period:
2nd August 2026 to 22nd August 2026
* Day Shifts 8.00am to 8.00pm - £20.00 per hour gross
* Sleep in Night Shifts – 8.00pm to 8.00am - £15 per hour gross
A room is provided for sleep-in shifts, and the likelihood of disturbance is low, and ordinarily, for minor ailments, possibly requiring a paracetamol. Sleep-in shifts are to accommodate our pupils in boarding during the Summer School Period.
Experience in minor illness/injuries or A & E preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality nursing care, first aid and emergency treatment.
* Support pupils with acute and chronic health needs.
* Oversee medical records, medication management and healthcare protocols.
* Promote health education and preventative healthcare.
* Work closely with pastoral and safeguarding teams.
About You
You will be a registered nurse / paramedic with strong clinical experience, with a genuine commitment to supporting young people.
The post will involve close contact with, and a high degree of responsibility for, children and young adults. The majority of this will be regulated activity and as such an enhanced DBS check (which includes children’s barred list information) will be required in advance of appointment.
