How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Promote evidence-informed, research-led teaching strategies that improve outcomes for learners with additional needs.

    * Provide expert guidance on statutory SEND responsibilities and emerging national developments.

    * Be a visible and proactive leader across the Trust, supporting schools to deliver outstanding inclusive provision.

    About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced educational leader who:

    * Has substantial experience leading SEND provision within a school or multi-school setting.

    * Possesses an excellent understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and current SEND legislation.

    * Has a proven track record of improving outcomes for pupils with SEND and other vulnerable groups.

    * Demonstrates strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.

    * Is skilled in analysing data and translating findings into meaningful improvement strategies.

    * Has experience of supporting schools through inspection and quality assurance processes.

    * Is committed to inclusion, equity and ensuring every child can achieve their full potential.

    * Builds strong relationships with staff, families, external agencies and wider stakeholders.

    What We Offer

    * Access to high-quality professional development and leadership opportunities.

    * A strong commitment to staff wellbeing and work-life balance.

    * The chance to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people.
