We're recruiting for an exceptional Registered Manager to lead a growing community-based service supporting young adults with a range of complex needs. As the Registered Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day leadership of the service, ensuring it remains safe, compliant, financially sustainable and, most importantly, delivers exceptional outcomes for the people it supports. The role involves managing a CQC-regulated Personal Care service and requires strong operational leadership, regulatory knowledge and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care.
The Role
As Registered Manager you will:
Lead and develop a high-performing team, creating a positive and supportive culture.
Ensure full CQC compliance and maintain inspection readiness at all times.
Oversee quality assurance, safeguarding, risk management and continuous improvement.
Build strong relationships with families, commissioners, local authorities and healthcare professionals.
Manage staffing, recruitment, training and performance to ensure excellent service delivery.
Support the growth and development of the service while maintaining the highest standards of care.
Participate in the management on-call rota and provide leadership during operational issues.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous experience managing a CQC-regulated service, ideally as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy/Service Manager ready to step up.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and quality assurance.
Experience supporting young adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or complex support requirements.
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Adult Care (or equivalent), or be working towards it with significant management experience.
Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across services.
