As a Senior AV Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Carrying out AV installation, configuration, testing and commissioning across high-end residential, hospitality and commercial projects.
* Conducting site surveys and supporting project delivery from installation through to final system sign-off.
* Installing and configuring home cinema, multi-room AV, home automation and integrated control systems.
* Working with platforms including Crestron, Control4 and Lutron.
* Installing, terminating and testing copper and fibre optic cabling and supporting IP networking requirements.
* Installing projectors, televisions, AV racks, interactive displays and associated audiovisual equipment.
* Carrying out fault finding, diagnostics and technical support across AV, control, networking and automation systems.
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics and site documentation.
* Working closely with project managers, contractors and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard.
* Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior AV engineers where required.
* Representing the business professionally when working directly with clients.
The successful Senior AV Engineer will have:
* Previous experience as a Senior AV Engineer, AV Engineer, Audio Visual Engineer or AV Installation Engineer.
* Strong hands-on experience delivering AV installation, configuration and commissioning projects.
* Experience with residential AV, home cinema, home automation and multi-room AV.
* Practical knowledge of Crestron, Control4, Lutron or similar control and automation systems.
* Experience with copper and fibre optic cabling and a good understanding of IP networking fundamentals.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across AV, control, networking and automation systems.
* The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and site documentation.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, contractors and project teams.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
* A full, valid driving licence.
* Relevant technical certifications from Control4, Crestron, or Lutron would be desirable.
