This defence firm seeks a talented software vulnerability researcher to assess critical systems and develop novel cyber defence techniques. You will develop proof-of-concept demonstrators and research the connections between software, hardware, infrastructure and user interactions to identify and understand vulnerabilities. This companies rapid approach to design and implementation means your work won’t stall at the concept stage.
Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience in vulnerability research.
* Good knowledge of how software and hardware interact at a low-level e.g. drivers, firmware, embedded systems, etc.
* Fluent programmer in C, C++ or Python.
* STEM degree from a top university.
* UK nationality, for security reasons.
Additional knowledge or expertise in reverse engineering, cyber-physical systems, networking and network protocols, or virtualisation and containerisation is desirable but not essential.
You will be working full time at their state-of-the-art office and labs located south of Cambridge with on-site parking.
