How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Bid Coordinator

    Salary: Up to £30,000
    Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 530pm - Full time in the office
    Location: London

    A growing construction business is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and ambitious Bid Coordinator to join its busy proposals and work-winning team.

    This role would be ideal for someone from with an administrative background, who has worked in a construction business or similar, supporting the wider project team with the bids and tender process.

    Working closely with the Head of Proposals, you will support the production of high-quality PQQs, tender submissions, and presentations, helping to create engaging and professional documents that support the business's growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    Create professional and visually engaging bid documentation for submission using Adobe InDesign.
    Assist with the preparation of PQQs, tender submissions, presentations, and other bid-related materials.
    Review tender documentation to identify client requirements, submission criteria, deadlines, and key deliverables.
    Support the coordination of bid activities to ensure information is gathered and submitted on time.
    Work closely with colleagues across the business to collect content and technical information for submissions.
    Ensure all documents are accurate, well-presented, and aligned with company branding and quality standards.About You

    Previous experience in proposals, bids, marketing, graphic design, or a similar support role.
    ideal experience working in construction, or similar environment
    Proficient in Adobe InDesign.
    Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator would be advantageous.What's on Offer
