The Opportunity
Contek Recruitment are currently working with a reputable precision engineering company based in Rugby, who are looking to add a Qualtiy Inspector to their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Using calibrated inspection equipment including micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, bore gauges and thread gauges.
* Interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T requirements to verify product conformity.
* Performing detailed inspections of both turned and milled components across a wide range of sizes and tolerances.
* Supporting CMM inspection activities where appropriate.
* Recording inspection results accurately and maintaining full traceability of inspection data.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Previous experience within a quality inspection position is required.
* Previous experience in a precision machining environment is required.
* Experience with CMM is desirable.
* Ability to use measuring equipment is required (verniers, micrometres, etc).
