How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Title: Senior Project Controls Manager
    Location: London (hybrid)
    Salary: up to £100,000 + package

    An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Controls Manager to join a leading consultancy supporting the delivery of one of the UK's most significant and technically complex infrastructure programmes.

    Working on a major project, you'll play a key leadership role within an established project controls team, helping to drive programme performance across a multi-billion-pound development. This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of one of the UK's most high-profile infrastructure projects while collaborating with industry-leading professionals in a dynamic and challenging environment.

    The Role

    As Senior Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating key project controls functions, ensuring the successful integration of planning, cost, risk, change and performance reporting activities across the programme.

    Working closely with senior project leadership and multidisciplinary teams, you will provide strategic project controls expertise, enabling informed decision-making and supporting the successful delivery of a complex infrastructure programme.

    This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of three days per week in the London office and two days working remotely.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead the delivery of integrated project controls across a major infrastructure programme.
    Support the integration of planning, cost management, risk, change control and performance reporting.
    Develop and maintain robust project controls processes and governance.
    Produce high-quality performance reports, programme dashboards and management information for senior stakeholders.
    Analyse project performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to support effective decision-making.
    Work collaboratively with planning, commercial, engineering and delivery teams to ensure accurate programme reporting.
    Facilitate project controls meetings and provide strategic advice to programme leadership.
    Drive continuous improvement across project controls processes and reporting standards.
    Mentor and support members of the wider project controls team where appropriate.About You

    We're looking for an experienced Project Controls professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and has the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders on major infrastructure programmes.

    You will have:

    Proven experience as a Senior Project Controls Manager, Project Controls Manager
    Strong experience integrating planning, cost, risk, change and reporting functions.
    Advanced user of Primavera P6.
    Experience producing performance reports and presenting programme information to senior stakeholders.
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
    Experience working within large, complex programme environments.
    A proactive, analytical and solutions-focused approach.
