The Role
As a Graduate TA - Aspiring Teacher, you'll support pupils across the curriculum, working alongside class teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences. You'll provide one-to-one support, lead small intervention groups, and help create a positive classroom environment where every child feels encouraged to succeed.
This role offers outstanding preparation for graduates planning to progress into a PGCE, School Direct, or other teacher training routes.
Key Responsibilities
Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Work with individual pupils and small groups to boost learning and confidence.
Help prepare classroom resources and learning activities.
Encourage positive behaviour and active participation.
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment.About You
The ideal Graduate TA - Aspiring Teacher will have:
A degree in any subject.
A genuine passion for working with children.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach.
The ability to inspire and motivate young learners.Previous experience working with children through tutoring, coaching, mentoring, volunteering, youth work, or childcare would be advantageous but is not essential.
