How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Organise training schedules, book training sessions, and liaise with external providers.

    * Design, develop and continuously improve engaging technical training materials, guides, and learning resources to support operational excellence, skills development, and workforce capability across manufacturing and engineering teams.

    * Deliver induction programmes and support training workshops where required

    * Maintain accurate training records, databases, and reporting information

    * Track training completion rates and ensure compliance requirements are met

    * Support the development of technical and operational training content alongside subject matter experts

    * Gather feedback and assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives

    * Promote employee engagement in learning and development activities

    * Provide day-to-day support to employees and managers on training-related matters

    About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning and development and enjoys working in a practical, people-focused environment.

    You may have experience within:

    * A Training Officer, Training Coordinator, Learning & Development Coordinator, Training Adviser, or similar role

    * Manufacturing, engineering, production, logistics, or other operational environments

    * Coordinating training programmes and managing training records

    * Supporting the delivery of learning and development initiatives

    * Creating and updating training materials and learning resources

    * Working with internal stakeholders and external training providers

To be successful, you will be:

    * Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

    * Confident communicating with people at all levels of the organisation

    * Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy and changing environment

    * Enthusiastic about helping others learn and develop

    * Proactive, approachable, and solutions-focused

A qualification or background in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field would be advantageous. Working towards or holding a CIPD qualification would also be beneficial.

    The Opportunity
