Want to lead the delivery of a major National Grid substation project while working on critical UK energy infrastructure?
Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the main civils package on a significant National Grid substation extension in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a major infrastructure scheme, managing the project through to successful completion while leading site teams and working closely with the client.
Job Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of the civils package, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, manage client relationships and oversee commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for planning works, managing programme delivery, monitoring project risks and ensuring all health, safety, quality and environmental standards are achieved.
Requirements
·Previous experience in a Project Manager position within civil engineering or energy infrastructure
·Previous experience delivering National Grid substation projects is preferred
·Experience managing major civils packages as the main contractor
·Strong understanding of NEC contracts and commercial project delivery
·Experience managing subcontractors, site teams and client relationships
·Relevant Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
·CSCS Card
·Strong leadership and communication skills
We are interviewing for this position immediately, with a planned project start in the coming months and flexibility to bring the successful candidate on earlier. The role is Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm.
